ULTIMATE NON-SURGICAL SKIN TIGHTENING

Thermage FLX

Thermage™ FLX

2020’s ULTIMATE NON-SURGICAL SKIN TIGHTENING.

The Thermage system is a non-invasive radiofrequency (RF) therapy that can smooth, tighten and contour skin on the face, eyes, and body for an overall younger-looking appearance in a single treatment with no surgery or injections and little to no downtime.

What is Thermage?

Thermage is a non-invasive procedure that’s clinically proven to help smooth wrinkles in the skin for an overall younger looking appearance. The treatment delivers natural looking results with little to no downtime – on all skin colours, on and off the face, all in a single procedure. Since there is no surgery involved you can generally return to normal activities immediately following the procedure.

How does it work?

As you age, the collagen in your skin breaks down resulting in wrinkles and sagging skin. Thermage uses patented radiofrequency (RF) technology to effectively heat the deeper layers of your skin, stimulating your existing collagen and promoting new collagen growth. This helps create smoother skin after just one treatment with results that continue to improve. The Thermage FLX™ system includes the patented ACCUREP™ technology, which optimises the consistency and precision of the treatment.

Does it hurt?

The Thermage FLX™ system incorporates vibration on the face and body treatments, which has been shown to provide patient comfort. Thermage treatments also integrate cooling comfort to help protect your skin and reduce any discomfort.

Who is it for?

Some people want the dramatic results of surgery. Others want the more subtle, gradual results of a non-invasive treatment with little to no downtime. This is where Thermage succeeds, delivering improved skin appearance, and overall texture. When lotions and potions are not enough and surgery is too much, Thermage can be an effective solution.

Before and After photos have not been retouched and represent patients who have had significant results. Individual results may vary based on the aggressiveness of treatment and skin condition.

What kind of results should I expect?

You can expect some collagen tightening, and many patients have reported:

  • Smoother, tighter skin with less sagging
  • Redefined contours along the jaw and under the chin
  • Softening of wrinkles and fine lines around the mouth, eyes and forehead
  • Brighter looking eyes
  • Reduced under eye sagging
  • Smoother skin on the eyelids

How long does the Thermage® treatment take?

Thermage treatments take 25-90 minutes, depending on the size, location and condition of the area to be treated. Thermage FLX™ treatments are faster than the previous generation of Thermage®, owing to the surface area of the new Total Tip 4.0 being larger than the Total Tip 3.0.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Thermage treat?

Thermage procedures can effectively treat fine lines and wrinkles on many body parts, including the face, neck, eyelids, tummy, arms, hands, thighs and buttocks.

How long will the results last?

For most patients, measurable results appear gradually in the four to six months following a single treatment session and can last for one to two years depending on your skin condition and ageing process.

How many treatments will I need?

Unlike many cosmetic procedures requiring multiple sessions, Thermage delivers results after a single treatment. Best of all, results continue to improve over time.

Does it hurt?

The Thermage system incorporates vibration on the face and body treatments which has been shown to provide patient comfort. You will feel a brief heating sensation when the treatment device’s tip touches your skin, followed by a cooling sensation to help protect your skin and minimise and discomfort.

Are there common side effects?

Some patients have temporary redness or minor swelling after treatment, but this usually goes away within 24 hours.

How long before I can go back to my normal activities?

Most patients return to their regular activities immediately following treatment. No special care is required afterward, aside from basic skin maintenance and sunscreens as part of a regular skincare regimen.
